VR games in the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality

At the time of writing, there are 2 days left to purchase the Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality with 1,658 games. All proceeds are donated to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Community Bail Fund split 50/50.

There are so many great games in the bundle. I wanted to list all the VR experiences available in the bundle so that others could easily find and enjoy them too.

Antigas Constelações (Ancient Constellations)

Translated from Brazilian Portuguese: This executable documentary is part of a research on critical interfaces with our material heritage. Here, the role of technological mediation processes in the production of monuments and the institutionalization of historical realism is at issue.

BloodBlast VR

The game puts you in the shoes of a doctor at nanoscale to fight infections by shooting viruses while preserving red and white blood cells.

Cabbibos Play Pack

This is a collection of unique and weird VR experiences. Bend the walls with your voice and play with strange plants on the side of a mountain.

Catlateral Damage

Catlateral Damage is a first-person destructive cat simulator where you play as a cat on a rampage, knocking as much stuff onto the ground as possible. See the world through the eyes of a cat! Like other first-person games, you can walk and look around, jump, and crouch. Unlike other first-person games, your primary weapons are your two cat paws, which you can use to swipe at and knock objects onto the floor.

Crashed Lander

This is a gravity-based arcade game inspired by classics like Lunar Lander and Space Taxi. You’ll pilot your craft from pad to pad trying to beat your best time – then flirt with that fine line between speed and control.

GNOG is a 3D puzzle game set in a tactile world of toys and secrets. Point, click, grab, poke, spin, pull, and play with uniquely charming monster heads as you explore the hidden worlds inside them. Filled with eye-catching designs, playful interactions, and a rich, reactive soundtrack, the hand-crafted heads come to life in either standard play or in VR.

Locomancer is a toy box style model train simulator for touch enabled SteamVR headsets. It allows you to build layouts of varying complexity and even defy what is physically possible in fake virtual reality (reality).

A Lullaby of Colors

Treat yourself to this virtual refuge from the real world with procedurally generated realms of gentle sounds, sweet-tasting colours, and breathtaking beauty. Find and catch the bouncing spheres to visit different worlds. Find the perfect place to relax and watch the virtual world go by. There are no enemies, quests, guns, or puzzles. There is no objective other than to relax and enjoy.

A Bird’s peaceful summer slumber is disturbed by the majestic call of a mysterious Owl. Enticed to swallow the last piece of the waning Moon, Bird is blown far from its Golden Gate home. Re-awaken shadowy forests and bring life back to sparkling lakes. Discover hidden creatures, help Bird reunite the fragmented Moon… and find its way home.

Perpetuum Mobile

Perpetuum Mobile is an ode to the games in vector graphics found in the arcade in the 70’s , 80’s and on some home consoles. You are the pilot of the infinite flyer Perpetuum Mobile and the last chance for the human race. So fly thru the tunnels of doom that the evil empire has created and destroy the army of villains, while trying to survive the dangerous maze and landscape.

Rulent Tower

This is a 5-10 minute gimmicky prototype. There isn’t a ton to do here, as it’s more about the novelty of seeing these pixel graphics converted to voxel and presented as if you were actually there in GB Land. There’s a few oversized props you can play with, and maybe an easter egg or two, if you poke around.

These Lands

These Lands is a virtual reality puzzle adventure game that leaves you marooned on an island. Following the footsteps of a long lost explorer, you must solve the puzzles to unearth the mystery hidden within. Only the most skilled, logical and brave adventurers will survive These Lands…… will you?

Volo Airsport

Volo Airsport is about the joys of skydiving and the beauty of nature. Try your hand at wingsuits, either flying as close to the mountains as possible, or soaring high and enjoying the view. Flying with a human body is an experience that is fundamentally different from piloting other aircraft; it can be as elegant as it can be clumsy. As such, Volo completely simulates the motion of your body, and you can see, hear and feel the way it interacts with the air around you.

VR Drum Studio

VR Drums Studio is HTC Vive compatible only.

There are 12 different sounds to play with: Crash Cymbal, Trash Cymbal, Ride Cymbal, Closed Hi-Hat, Open Hi-Hat, Snare, Low Snare (Handle), Tom 1, Tom 2, Floor Tom, Cow Bell, Drum Kick. Built-in Metronome (5 – 300 BPM), drum kit height and pads/cymbals positions are adjustable, positions can be stored and re-called during the game session.

Wakamarina Valley, NZ

The game is a short exploration/photography experience set in the idyllic forested landscape of the Wakamarina Valley, located near Queen Charlotte Sound on New Zealand’s South Island.

Head over to the contact page and let me know what games you’re playing from the bundle and if I’ve missed any VR ones.

Stay safe!
