Who else loved Red Dead Redemption and is excited for number 2? ðŸ¤
–
In the latest episode of ComposerCast, Sam Whiting and I chatted a bit about the soundtrack of RDR. That must have been one of the few games I actually completed. Did you know that the music in Red Dead was all composed in the key of A minor and all at 130 beats per minute? This is the kind of thing that can really make a soundtrack sound cohesive.
Each instrument was recorded individually as a stem which allowed the music to be incredibly adaptive and change smoothly based on the player’s location and situation. I’m sure the soundtrack for number 2 will be just as exciting to listen to. I can’t wait to get back on my horse and become an outlaw.
You can keep up with all the latest Red Dead 2 info on Gamespot.
